It’s about to be a scary good time at the parks! Halloween is officially returning to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure in the fall!
Not only will Oogie Boogie Bash be returning to DCA on select nights, but the Halloween decorations and yummy fall treats will be making an appearance yet again at the Happiest Place on Earth! And your My Oh My Planners will be there to share all the seasonal magic.
Oogie Boogie tickets went on sale last week, and it was not the easiest process to get tickets. The Disney execs used the virtual queue once again, similar to the one used to buy park tickets in April. We heard people were in the virtual queue for up to eight hours! And that some people were charged multiple times due to an error message. Yikes!
If you have your tickets already to the bash, congratulations! We decided to wait until the next day to purchase tickets, as we were still not quite sure whether we wanted to attend. But alas, there were plenty of dates available, so we chose September 23rd as our party date! We cannot wait to show you all of the fun decorations, character interactions, and shows throughout the park for the special Halloween celebration.

Haunted Mansion Holiday
Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark
Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
And just across the way, the Great Mickey Pumpkin will be smiling at the end of Main Street once again! You know what that means...pumpkin-flavored EVERYTHING.

Although these treats have not been confirmed yet, we hope an announcement is coming soon regarding our fav sweets!
We are also really looking forward to seeing the Halloween Screams fireworks show at Disneyland! And although no announcement has been made, we have our fingers crossed that the Halloween parade will return as well in the fall.
